AEON Finishes Recording New Album

Sweden's AEON recently entered Empire Studio to begin recording the follow-up to 2005's "Bleeding the False" (Unique Leader),due later in the year via Metal Blade Records. The band has since issued the following update:

"We are now finished recording our new album and the project has been sent to Dan Swanö at Unisound Studio so he can start mixing and mastering the album. April was indeed a hectic month in the studio for us, but we did manage to record everything in time without too much trouble. 12 songs where put on tape with a rawer and more brutal sound than we ever had. So we are really looking forward to see what Dan will make out of this. We are sure it will kill."

AEON last year inked a multi-album deal with Metal Blade Records. The band also announced the addition of bassist Max Carlberg to the group's ranks.
